Studio Policies

Late Registration

  • Registration for new Level I or Gentle Yoga students is taken through the third week of each 9-week session and the second week of a short session.
  • Late registration for new students is not prorated; missed classes are to be made up.
  • Returning or experienced Iyengar Yoga students may enroll at any time on a pro-rated basis.

Before Coming to Class

  • Wear clothing that allows you to move but is not baggy; we need to see your knees and feet.
  • Come with an empty stomach or eat lightly not less than one hour before class.
  • Please do not wear fragrant oils or perfumes as others may be allergic.

Arrival Time

  • Please arrive 5-10 minutes early so class can begin on time.
  • If you are going to be more than 15 minutes late, please arrange for a make-up. This is for your safety and consideration of others.

Make-up Classes

  • Please make your best effort to attend the class for which you are registered. Make-ups may be done in any other class similar to your level. If you know your plans ahead of time, make up your classes in advance!
  • Make ups are to be done within the session. However, if you register and pay for the next session, you may carry over 2 make-up classes for each class you take.

Drop-in Classes

  • Non-registered Students: $18; Registered Students: $16
  • Level I students may drop-in any Level I or Gentle class.
  • Level I/II and above students may drop-in any appropriate level class.
  • Non-registered, experienced Iyengar students may drop-in to any appropriate-level class.
  • Out of consideration to our students, we request that students with no previous Iyengar experience do not drop-in.
  • Payment in cash or check only - no credit cards.

Refunds

  • Refunds for general reasons are made when necessary within the first 2 weeks minus a $15 administration fee and $16 for each class attended. Refunds for medical or family emergencies may be made later in the session on a case by case basis.
  • Requests for refunds should be made in writing or by email to the studio and not to your teacher.
  • No fees will be carried over into the next session

Class Fees

To keep costs down, Tree House Iyengar Yoga does not accept credit cards.

Payment Options for 9 week session:

  • Full Payment: pay the entire amount by the first class;
  • Installment Option: pay in two installments, the first payment is due on or before the first class and the second payment on or before the sixth class;
  • Deposit Only: pay $25 with the balance of the remaining full payment due the first day of class.
